It has not been the nicest first week of sping. We woke up this morning to a gorgious white view!
Our day yesterday was rainy. We headed to find some new views. We ended up at a Admiral Lighthouse right next to a fort. Fort Casey was part of three military forts that protected the Admiral Inlet. These three fort were the first line of defense for protection of the Bremerton Naval Base and the city of Seattle. It was an interesting day. We had never "played" around a fort like this. We had both built forts playing as kids but had not seen anything quite like this. A rather erie and neat suprise for a day without a plan.
